Final storybook pages
Here is the detailed post for our final storybook! We printed our storybook with dimensions 210mm x 210mm on art paper (with the covers being a thicker version).Originally, one page was A5 size but then after discussion with the printing services we cut it down. It's a paperback, saddle-stitched.
Besides the story itself, other misc. pages includes the map page, colouring page, and "what do you think of your grandparents" page for example. The theme of the story is to know that your grandparents love you no matter what. But you have to accommodate and understand them just as they do for you.
A constant colour scheme was used throughout the book, which I think will be obvious if you read through (brown is like the ultimate colour!).
We all drew the characters itself first, before dividing up the pages and working on that page's respective background. Then we pieced them together and dividing the colouring work. We finally compiled them together with text, arranged the pages accordingly, converted to .pdf form so on and so forth.
Tricky part was the printing of pages on the same piece of paper (for example, front cover + back cover etc.). It was overall a fun but extremely tedious project! Anyway, the storybook itself! It's actually quite a long story, since the minimum is 10 pages. Enjoy!
