Worst of 2008
Note: edited the best of list after more consideration. ^^ And this worst of list seemed easier to come up with.1) Economic downturn. No kidding. It's hitting home closer than you think.
2) There were the usual family arguments but one particular one seemed really major, like a realisation. That aside, certian extended family relations seemed to have grown worse.
3) I hardly met up with Cheryl (lol Cheryl, sorry you're mentioned here)...and I never got to meeting up with HY. =="
4) Even though I know I got many ideas and doodles in the earlier part of the year, after that it was super super stagnant - I'm really ashamed. I tried my best to sit down and stuff but nothing substantial...
5) My colouring sucked and still sucks. =_= I pretty much mess up everytime I tried. And seriously, my dream for the first day of 2009 (you know the belief Japanese have?) seemed link to this. Let's see: I love designing in general - clothes, rooms, websites etc. I dreamt of a fashion design I drew up being in b&w AND the model b&w AND BASICALLY EVERYTHING IN B&W. Wth. ):
6) My writing...stagnant (at its max). Despite the long break, my detailed plans for a few fanfictions, and half-baked chapters...nothing's really came out at the end of the day.
7) My reading life! Somehow when it comes to novels I'm pickier about the writing style and plot (basically I'm super fussy)...and it was quite hard to satisfy my requirements.
8) Infection's (my mp3 rotation website) closure - not saying this is bad. But its existence (3 years) brought me more stress than joy even though I enjoyed giving my comments/recommendations and designing its layouts.
9) Justine Henin's retirement (Again, I'm not saying this is necessarily bad) = my interest in the female tennis realm dropping a lot. Roger Federer's bumpy year = a lot of stress in my leisure time. O_O
10) Let's just say I think that I didn't know when to be thick-skinned and vice versa. And probably still don't.
